TTIC Accreditation Status
Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago was granted initial candidacy status for accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools on May 2, 2005. The Commission Board of Trustees validated this action through its validation process concluded on May 17, 2005.
Two institutional documents are posted on the Commission's website (http://www.ncahlc.org/index.php?option=com_directory&Action=ShowBasic&instid=2859) for public disclosure - the Statement of Affiliation Status and Organizational Profile.
TTIC is moving forward toward accreditation and plans to achive this status within the required four-year time frame.
TTIC has progressed toward candidacy and ultimately accreditation status as follows:

- Submittal of Preliminary Information Form to Higher Learning Commission (HLC)
- November 2003
- Preliminary Information Form Approved by HLC
- October 2004
- Submittal of Self Study Report to HLC Evaluation Team Members
- December 6-8, 2004
- On Site review conducted by HLC evaluation team
- April 2005
- Submittal of Addendum to Self Study Report to HLC
- May 2, 2005
- Meeting with HLC Review Committee for determination of TTIC's eligibility for Candidacy
- Granding of TTIC's initial candidacy status by HLC Review Committee
- May 17, 2005
- Validation of TTIC's initial candidacy status by the Commission Board of Trustees
- Feb 18-21, 2007
