Dr. Brian DuSell

Brian DuSell received PhD, MS, and BS degrees in Computer Science from the University of Notre Dame. Prior to joining TTIC, he was a postdoc at ETH Zurich. Brian’s research centers around artificial intelligence, neural networks, natural language processing, syntax, and the theory of computing. He is interested in precisely characterizing the computational abilities and limitations of modern AI technology (including large language models) and in surmounting those limitations using insights from theoretical computer science.
