Dr. Allyson Ettinger

Allyson Ettinger received her BA in Linguistics and Psychology from Brandeis University in 2010, and her PhD in Linguistics from the University of Maryland in 2018.

Dr. Ettinger’s research interests are in natural language processing and computational cognitive modeling, with a focus on processing and representation of linguistic meaning. She is particularly interested in evaluating and improving models of meaning composition at the phrase and sentence levels, drawing on interdisciplinary approaches bridging computer science, cognitive neuroscience, and linguistics.
