Research Assistant Professor

PhD - MIT

Sepideh Mahabadi received her PhD in Computer Science from MIT in 2017, where she was part of the Theory of Computation group in CSAIL. Before joining TTIC, for a year she was a postdoctoral research scientist at Simons Collaboration on Algorithms and Geometry hosted at Columbia University. She received her B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in 2011. Her research lies in the area of theoretical computer science and is mainly focused on algorithms for massive data including high dimensional geometry, streaming algorithms, sub-linear time algorithms, sketching, and graph algorithms.
