Anand Sarwate received B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2002, an M.S. from the University of California, Berkeley in 2005, and a Ph.D. from the the University of California, Berkeley in 2008. From Fall 2008-2011 he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Information Theory and Applications Center at the University of California, San Diego.
Anand is broadly interested in statistics and probability with applications to privacy, medical informatics, signal processing, communications, networking, and control.
