As leaders of a U.S. academic institution we are deeply troubled by the recent presidential proclamations and executive orders restricting travel by foreign nationals to the United States. Students, staff and faculty of TTI-Chicago continue to be affected by these orders by being limited in their travel to academic institutions, conferences, and interviews.

Removing talented people from our institution reduces our ability to serve our mission of education and research. We believe these actions by the US government similarly undermine the entire U.S. academic and technology communities.

Under these difficult circumstances, TTI-Chicago will do whatever is possible to support its affected students, staff and faculty.
