Kevin Gimpel received a B.S.E. in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004 and a Ph.D. from the Language Technologies Institute at Carnegie Mellon University in 2012.
His research focuses on natural language processing. He also develop general techniques for learning and inference, particularly in structured settings. Recent interests include paraphrase recognition, machine comprehension, commonsense knowledge representation, and narrative understanding.
